A range of accessories and safety features are available for your Allweld Industrial Platform Ladder to help you do your job safer, quicker, and more comfortably.
Becoming extremely popular is the Safety Gate. This fully encloses the operator whilst on the platform, satisfying work places with red hot OHW&S. Contractors requiring a transportable platform ladder with a safety gate choose the Allweld Platform Ladder because it can still be folded up, even when the safety gate is fitted.
An alternative to the safety gate are the yellow powder coated Optional Handrails. These fit all models and simply bolt on.
Optional LD Castors (spring loaded) are available for the two, three, four, five and six step models. A spring automatically disengages the castor when the operator mounts and automatically engages when the castor when the operator dismounts the ladder.
HD Castors (lever system) operate the seven and eight step platform ladders and this gives far greater stability than spring loaded castors on these large units. The lever system is also available for the six step wide base (FPS18WB) platforms on request. The lever castor system is simply operated by the operators' foot but still allows the platform ladder to be folded for storage.
Loading Trays are available with a load capacity of 5kg. The tray simply clicks on or off the platform ladder's tummy rail.
Wall Mounting Brackets can be purchased to allow the folding platforms to be folded and hung for stowage.
